VerseVibe ("we", "us", "our") is operated as a sole trader business registered in Western Australia, Australia. We operate the VerseVibe application ("the App"), a private biblical diary for personal spiritual reflection.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By creating an account and using VerseVibe, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

What Information We Collect

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• • Provide and operate the VerseVibe app
• • Process your subscription payments through Stripe
• • Generate AI-powered biblical dream interpretations and scripture suggestions using Anthropic's Claude AI
• • Maintain your personalisation preferences across devices
• • Ensure the security and privacy of your diary

We do not use your diary content for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

AI Processing

VerseVibe uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate biblical dream interpretations and scripture alignment suggestions. When you submit a dream or journal entry for AI processing:

• • Your entry text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing
• • Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy
• • We do not store your entries with Anthropic beyond the processing of your request
• • All AI interpretations are based solely on the Bible — no other sources are used

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with the following protections:

• • Row Level Security (RLS) — your diary entries are only accessible by you
• • All data is encrypted at rest and in transit
• • Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with secure session management
• • Automatic session timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity to protect your privacy

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties except:

• • Supabase — database and authentication provider (data storage)
• • Anthropic — AI processing of dream and journal entries you choose to submit
• • Stripe — payment processing
• • Vercel — application hosting

All third party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• • Access your personal data at any time
• • Correct any inaccurate information
• • Delete your account and all associated data
• • Export your diary entries (contact us at hello@versevibe.net)
• • Withdraw consent at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account

For GDPR users (European Economic Area): you also have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Data Retention

• • Your diary data is retained for as long as your account is active
• • If you delete your account, all personal data and diary entries are permanently deleted within 30 days
• • Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for Australian tax compliance purposes

Children's Privacy

VerseVibe is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at hello@versevibe.net.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
